This Privacy Policy explains how the Detechtor AI Chrome extension (“the extension”, “we”, “us”), operated by Addons Chrome, handles your data. Detechtor AI is a website technology detector: it reports the technologies a website you visit is built with.

1. Data we collect

To provide sign-in and manage your subscription plan, we collect:

• Google account email address
• Google profile name and profile picture (basic profile)
• A Google account identifier and the OAuth access token used to retrieve the basic profile above
• Your membership tier (free or premium)

We request only the basic Google profile scopes. We do not request or access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service data.

2. Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your browsing history or the list of websites you visit.
• We do not collect or transmit the content of the pages you analyze.
• Website analysis — including reading page markup, response headers and cookies — runs locally in your browser and the results are shown only in the extension. This data is never uploaded.

3. How we use your data

• To identify your account and keep you signed in across devices.
• To determine whether you are on the free or premium plan and to enforce the free daily usage limit.
• To process and restore purchases.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not display ads, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

4. How your data is stored and shared

Your settings and session are stored locally on your device via Chrome storage. Your account email, name, profile picture and Google identifier are transmitted to our own licensing server at addonschrome.com solely to create or look up your account and return your membership tier. Payment is handled by our payment provider through a secure checkout page. We do not share your personal data with any other third party except as required to operate these functions or to comply with law.

5. Your rights and choices

• You can stop all data transmission by signing out or uninstalling the extension.
• You may request access to, or deletion of, your account data at any time by contacting us.
• We support data-subject rights under the GDPR and CCPA.

6. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account exists. When you request deletion, we remove your personal data from our systems within a reasonable period.

7. Children

The extension is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
